What Do We Do?

healthcare pressionals training students

Provide Training

GECS provide emergency care training to doctors and nurses in countries with developing healthcare systems.

Donate Healthcare Equipment

The teaching equipment used in each course is donated locally after GECS faculty have ensured staff in the receiving hospitals are trained in the safe use of the equipment.

Improve Healthcare for Communities

The courses are tailored to local epidemiological patterns of injury and illness and to available local healthcare resources. The course covers the emergency care of both adult and paediatric patients.

“I liked the course very much since I’m now improved with the knowledge that will make me a better practitioner for the new adult emergency unit which is under construction.”
— B'bray Sangala, Malawi 2010
